IDENTITY & BACKGROUND
VERIFICATION
A Private Network Requires a Higher Standard of Trust.
Protecting the integrity, discretion and
trust of our private network .
Betty Hamilton Matchmakers operates a private network built around discretion, authenticity and personal trust. For that reason, we take care to establish the identity and background of individuals who progress through our membership process.
Verification is not an optional add-on, nor is it reserved for our VIP clientele only. It is an integral part of maintaining the integrity of the network and applies to applicants across our membership pathways.
THE REASON
_____
Why verification exists
Our members entrust us with access to a highly private environment. Verification helps us establish the identity and authenticity of individuals who progress through our membership process, supporting the standards expected of a discreet and selective matchmaking network.
The purpose is not to create unnecessary barriers. It is to protect the people within the network and preserve the quality, trust and discretion upon which our approach depends.
WHAT WE ESTABLISH
1 - IDENTITY
Confirming the applicant's identity and the authenticity of the information provided.
2 - BACKGROUND
Conducting appropriate checks to help establish the integrity and
authenticity of an applicant's background.
3 - DISCRETION
Handling the process with appropriate care and confidentiality.
4 - INTEGRITY
Maintaining a private environment in which members can engage with greater confidence.
WHAT TO EXPECT
When your application reaches the verification stage, our team will provide the relevant instructions and explain what is required. The precise information requested may vary according to the circumstances of the applicant and
the membership pathway.
You may be asked to provide documentation or information necessary to establish identity and conduct appropriate background verification. Applicants should provide accurate and complete information so that the process can be carried out properly.
If additional clarification is required, our team may contact you directly. The completion of verification is only one part of the overall consideration process.

NOTE: Declining verification means a profile cannot be activated. It is a gentle closing of the door, not a judgement — the network simply cannot extend itself without the trust that verification provides.
APPLIED TO ALL
_____
Our private network is built upon standards that apply to everyone within it.
Whether you join through our complimentary pathway or our full-service VIP membership, verification is a shared threshold. It is not a marker of status — it is the foundation of trust that every member, on every pathway, is asked to honour.
